Our story · Est. April 2026

Somers needed a town square. We brought the coffee.

Roasted Beanery opened its doors on April 27, 2026 in the Somers Crossing plaza — a coffee shop built on a simple bet: that a small New England town would show up for genuinely serious coffee, served without pretension.

Somewhere between the supermarket run and the school pickup, there should be a place to slow down. That's the one we're building.

What we stand by

Craft. Coffee. Connect.

Craft
Brewed to order, every time

Single-origin pour-overs with the tasting notes on the card. Espresso dialed in every morning. If it takes four minutes, it takes four minutes.

Coffee
Honest ingredients

100% organic refreshers, no artificial dyes — the Blue Magic gets its color from blue spirulina, nothing else. Brioche from real bakers.

Connect
The town square

Local art on the walls, room to work or linger, and a counter where regulars get greeted by name. Community isn't a section of the site — it's the point.

The roasting process

From origin to roast card

01
Source single-origin lots
Small lots chosen for character — Guatemala, Ethiopia, Colombia, rotating with the season.
02
Roast for the cup, not the trend
Each origin gets the roast level that flatters it — dark where it earns body, light where it keeps the florals.
03
Cup, note, and post the card
We taste every batch and write the notes you see at the counter — cacao, tobacco, hazelnut isn't marketing copy, it's what's in the cup.
Want to work the counter?
We hire from Somers, Enfield, and Ellington first. Training included — care required.
